Growing Instructions

Start Copenhagen Early Cabbage seeds indoors 4–8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep in seed-starting mix and maintain a temperature of 60–70°F. Transplant seedlings outdoors when they are about 4–6 inches tall and the soil has warmed. Space plants 12–18 inches apart in rows 24–30 inches apart. Cabbage thrives in full sun with consistent moisture and rich, well-draining soil. Mulch around plants to retain moisture and reduce weeds.
